TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:

*President Muhammadu Buhari received a number of Ministerial Briefings at the State House, Abuja.

*President Muhammadu Buhari met with All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors.

*Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, presided over the inaugural National Emergency Management Agency Governing Council meeting, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

*Director General, Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTR) Chiedu Osakwe met with the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), on the African Continent Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).

Also:

The Abuja Light Rail project now has 12 stations and tracks completed.

The procurement of rolling stock (wagons, etc) are still ongoing.

Trial phase of the project is set to commence soon, ahead of full operations.

The 12 completed stations of the Abuja Light Rail are:

the Metro Station,

Stadium,

Wupa,

Kukwaba 1 and 2,

Gwagwa,

Dei-Dei,

Idu,

Bassanjiwa,

Airport,

Kagini, and Bazango stations.
